Rob Kempson Promoted to Director
Edwards has promoted Rob Kempson to the position of Director.
Rob joined Edwards as a teenager in 2010 and has worked hard to progress and build his knowledge and career within the firm.
Rob has been the senior audit manager of the Edwards audit department since 2020. He oversees the planning of client audits and assists the audit team in their day-to-day roles. He has also been instrumental in supporting larger clients by providing advice and support post-audit.
Rob joins the other board directors at Edwards, David Webb, Neil Taylor, Steve Holden, and Paul Tonks, to assist with the firm’s continued growth and success. His new role will still include overseeing the audit department, but he will also assume a more strategic role as a Director, helping Edwards drive the business forward and achieve the firm’s ambitious growth plans.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support and advice the Edwards team has given me. I started as an impressionable teenager, and the team has supported my growth not only professionally but also personally,” said Rob.
Rob added, “What I love about working at Edwards is that no two days are the same as far as client work is concerned, there’s always a new challenge, which provides a great mix of variety in the type work we do. Many of the team have been here since I started too which gives me a sense of familiarity and provides both old and new clients the best, consistent service.”
David Webb, Director said: “Rob’s promotion is well deserved. It recognises his commitment and significant contribution to the team and the firm over the last 15 years.”
