Marina is a qualified lawyer and oversees our internal compliance policies, taking appropriate steps to identify and assess the risk that could be used for money laundering.
Marina ensures that new clients comply and proceed with all the relevant checks required according to the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (MLR17) so that they can be taken on board as an Edwards client. These procedures include performing client due diligence before establishing a business relationship with the client and effective AML policies.
